custom shaped Handgun Grips
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hookay. I'm clearing hurdles, and now I'm at the next one.
The gun: S&W 66. The user: 5'2 female with itty bitty kid size hands. I need to make 'em fit each other.
Who does custom shaping for k-frame round-butt S&W? What's the going rate? What do I do, have her squeeze some modeling clay and mail it in?
Any help is appreciated...

Actually, the clay comment is not that far off the mark. Herret's Handgun Grips requires you to trace your hand on a piece of paper and send it to them so they can customize the Handgun Grips for each individual. Other co's may do the same, but I need some imput from other forum folks on that. I think you can get to and Navigate their website fairly easily. Otherwise, she'll have to try Handgun Grips individually till she finds one that works. BTW....The custom Handgun Grips aren't on the same price scale as "over the counter" Handgun Grips. Best wishes.

Find some take-off used Handgun Grips at a gun show or other cheap wood Handgun Grips and go to town on them yourself (not while on the gun is better to avoid damaging the gun). If they have to be pretty too then you might need professional assistance.
I'll let people with some experiance in not doing everything themselves answer that one
