Wood Revolver pistol grips
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I received a 6" GP100 for my first anniversary, and now I want some decent wood pistol grips for it. I have had a lot of trouble finding a much of a selection for the GP, so I was wondering if any of the S&W pistol grips may also fit the Rugers.
Also, I have read that some of the guys onTFL make their own pistol grips- what kind of wood do you use, where do you start, how hard is it to make a set? I am always up for a good challenge. Thanks for any and all help!

Hogue makes some nice wood pistol grips for the Ruger GP100. Also try Herrett's for some custom made wood pistol grips to exactly fit your hand! You might try Badger pistol grips also? And Lett pistol grips?

I just got a set of pao ferro pistol grips off of hogueauction for under $30!!! I can't believe I had never stumbled across their auction site, but I am glad someone had posted it! Thanks for any help, I might still attempt to make a set on my own!
